On 12-11-2011 at approx. 3:09AM E-19,22,20 & L-24 were alerted for a reported structure fire at a trucking company on Lower George’s Creek Rd. south Barton.  AC-19 Rounds arrived reporting a working fire in a single story wood structure.  The structure was approx. 50’ long and 25’ wide housing a office and storage area.  It was reported that flammable liquids were stored in the building.  Additional alarm was sounded bringing Tanker 36 and Squad 18 along with Eng.-24-13 and U-20.  Station 22 and 18 had crews on stand-by at their stations.  Tri-Towns EMS was also alerted for EMS stand-by at the scene.  ET-191 crew arrived and pulled two 1-3/4 attack lines, one to side “A” and the other to side “B” then “C”.  ER-192 supplied ET-191 with their tank water and ET-223 laid in from the hydrant with 5” to ER-192.  Truck 24 pulled a third line from ET-191 and went to side “D” and then “C”, foam units were added to the fire attack.  ER-201 completed vent ops. and later assisted with overhaul.  S-18 was the RIT crew and T-36 set up portable lights and assisted with overhaul operations.  The fire was knocked in approx. 20-25 minutes from the time of arrival with Barton units clearing approx. 4 hours later.  The fire is under investigation by the MD. SFMO.

The Barton Fire Dept. would like to thank all Mutual Aid Companies for their assistance and everyone worked well together for a smooth, but cool fire ground operation.  **Photos**  **Video**
